We founded Solar Repair Services to support Florida homeowners left without recourse when their installer closed. Our purpose is to remain — dependable this year, and in the years that follow.
When a solar installer closes, the homeowner is left with an unmonitored system and an unsupported warranty. We built the company to address precisely that. As a licensed contractor, we assume responsibility for orphaned systems — restoring their performance, maintaining it, and remaining accountable. No pressure and no upselling: a dependable partner you can reach when you need one.
Solar Repair Services is led and governed by people who have built, financed, and operated solar and energy companies at scale. That experience is why we can commit to being here for the long term.
Co-Founder & CEO of Florida
Jeff brings more than 20 years of executive leadership across construction, roofing, and renewable energy, including over 12 years in solar. As a former vice president of a solar finance company, he helped oversee a portfolio totaling $2.7 billion in financing, and has a proven record of launching, scaling, and growing successful companies.

Krystal has 14 years of experience in the solar industry, including 6 years as the founder and owner of a solar service company, 4 years as Director of Customer Service, and 4 years as VP of Business Development & Customer Success.

With 17+ years in the solar industry, Jess Phillips is an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist and accomplished entrepreneur. As founder and CEO of a residential and commercial solar company, he scaled the business to $50 million in annual revenue and earned the prestigious 2019 U.S. Energy Project of the Year Award. Jess also co-founded a solar financing company responsible for $2.7 billion in loans across the U.S. and the Caribbean over 13 years and spent five years scaling a national technology platform serving the solar industry.
Chairman of the Board
With 14 years of experience in the solar industry, Gary Schmeichel is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial services executive. As co-founder and CEO of a home improvement financing company, he helped scale the business to $2.7 billion in loans originated across the U.S. and Caribbean. Gary also served five years on the board of a $1.6 billion regional bank, bringing extensive expertise in lending, financial strategy, and business growth to Solar Repair Services.
